This is my second attempt to get what I had in mind on "paper" (quotes since my work is done on the computer). It's closer but not quite there yet. Also have to look at some turtle shells since I realized I didn't know exactly how to draw one.

Again, this is Leonardo, from Eastman & Laird's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
